LIBOR Interest Rate

"LIBOR" is short for the “London Inter-Bank Offered Rate and is the interest rate offered for U.S. dollar deposits by a group of large London banks. Although there are several LIBOR’s corresponding to different deposit maturities, many premium finance lenders will base their loan basis off the 12-month deposits LIBOR interest rate.
